Suzanne Gavin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Nationally Certified Custody Evaluator, and Nationally Certified Parenting Coordinator, has over twenty five years’ experience working with a broad range of ages, ethnicity’s, and psycho-social situations. Prior to beginning her private clinical practice, Ms. Gavin worked for many years with children, adolescents and adults in crisis, in a mental health setting.  In addition, Ms. Gavin has extensive experience working with families in the foster care system and terminally ill children and adults.

Suzanne Gavin has comprehensive training in divorce mediation and parental coordination. She has conducted court ordered custody evaluations, co-parenting counseling, parenting skills training, therapeutic supervised visitation and reunification therapy.  Ms. Gavin is on the Mental Health Professionals Panel for the First and Second Judicial departments and has appeared as an expert witness in Nassau County Family Court.
